Dr. Barbara Settles

 

Dr. Barbara Settles is a professor in the Department of Individual and Family Studies and Policy Fellow, Department of Urban Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Delaware.  She is a well-recognized national and international scholar in the field of family studies.  She consults at the local level with daycare providers in high-risk areas to evaluate ways of involving parents in supporting the child's development.  She enjoys teaching and mentoring students and professionals who are interested in the well-being of all families.
