Occasional Quantity Cooks

Welcome!

Ohio State University Extension recognizes the importance of food service/preparation in communities as a way to bring together stakeholders, recognize participants or volunteers, and in some cases serve as fundraisers for programmatic efforts.

The events themselves are certainly very important, as is the appropriate handling, preparation, and serving of the food. The training materials and associated post-training survey are designed to raise your awareness and hopefully increase your knowledge regarding food safety. Built upon the Safe Handling for Occasional Quantity Cooks program, this is designed for individuals (Extension volunteers and/or paid staff) providing leadership to the preparation and/or service of food at Ohio State University Extension sponsored events and activities.
